T-shirts Needed for Outdoor Loom
Ms. Ripley is making yarn for the outdoor loom using old t-shirts. She needs donations of t-shirts (any color, any size, but larger shirts make longer lengths of yarn). Also, if you would like to help with the cutting, there is a special way to cut the shirts that allows you to make one long strip out of a T-shirt. Please join Ms. Ripley for a tutorial on how to make the cuts at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in the art room.
Save the Date: Knight Run March 6, 2015
Come join us in this fun day when all of our students run during their specials time in a PTA fundraising effort.
Volunteers Needed:
Thanks for everyone who has signed up to volunteer already, but we need a lot more help to make this successful. We need cheerleaders, snack delivery, counters, etc. and we especially need clerks. They are essential to the event running smoothly. The number of laps run by each student needs to be tracked on a form so that prizes can be awarded. This is done immediately after running while the students have their snack. It has to be done before the students return to class. Please consider volunteering as a clerk. Interested in volunteering, sign up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084eacac23a2fb6-nottingham1. If you can’t volunteer the day of the event, please consider donating water - our kids are real thirsty after running!
PayPal live for donations
Sponsors can make their payment online using PayPal. Click Donate Now on the Knight Run page available here: http://nottinghampta.weebly.com/2015-knight-run.html
All proceeds from our Fourth Annual Knight Run will go toward the SPARK park fundraising goal.

The Nottingham Nominating Committee is now working to put together the slate of officers for the 2015-2016 school year. The entire slate is: President, VP-Programs, VP-Membership, VP-Large Fundraisers, VP-Small Fundraisers, Secretary and Treasurer.
If you are interested in serving as an officer, please email a committee member by February 27 and if you have a suggestion for someone who would serve well as an officer, please email those ideas as well.
