Get timed on the football style Tire Run; test your leaping ability on the Vertical Jump; battle it out with a friend on the Strength Tester; get stronger using the Chest Press/Lat Pull and the Leg Press; improve your balance with the Spring Balance Beam; and develop strength and dexterity on the M Shaped Climber.
4. New swing area will feature traditional swings as well as a handicap accessible swing.
5. Shade structure over existing playground equipment for year-round use in the Texas heat.
6. Multi-use children’s sports area with permanent goals and improved baseball backstop.
7. Beautiful brick and wrought iron entrance that will permanently honor our generous donors, located next to the revitalized Pre-Kindergarten play area.
8. Exciting new activities and art will include a giant outdoor chess board, tetherball station, Gaga Pit, and artistic mural created by Nottingham students and led by our art teacher, Ms. Ripley.
9. New landscaping will enhance the current green space by adding large trees along the property line with additional permanent park quality benches and trash cans throughout.
10. Aesthetic improvements to the front of the school will include beautiful new landscaping, new grass, and octagonal benches surrounding the trunks of the giant oak trees.
