March Faculty and Staff Lunch
The hospitality committee is looking for help with our monthly faculty/staff appreciation lunch on March 12. This month's theme is a baked potato and salad bar, and we need people to bake potatoes, provide toppings and make salads and desserts. This lunch is hosted by the first grade families, but anyone who enjoys cooking is welcome to join in the fun. You can volunteer at the following link: www.tinyurl.com/2015-firstgradelunch.

SPARK Park Update
Do you know of a potential donor for the Nottingham SPARK Park but are not comfortable asking them yourself? Enter the SPARK Park "pitch team"! We have a team of dedicated volunteers who are more than happy to "pitch" the Park to potential donors. The "pitch" can be as formal as a presentation to a room full of hundreds of people using PowerPoint, passing out packets and fielding questions or as simple as meeting a donor for coffee and giving them a quick 5 minute presentation about the park. If you know of a potential donor but don't know how to start the conversation, let us help! If you are interested in having the team "pitch" the Park to a potential donor, please contact Leslie Schoenfield at [email protected]
The Nottingham SPARK Park is well on its way to becoming a reality! We have just over $135,000 committed so far and the Knight Run SPARK Park Fundraiser is still to come! Remember, all the underwriting opportunities are on a first come, first serve basis so if there's a part of the Park you've had your eye on, hurry and turn in your Commitment Form (link here) so you don't miss out! We need volunteers for our Underwriting Committee! If you are interested in helping to solicit donations from local businesses, please contact Gina Keith at [email protected]. If you know of a charitable foundation or a grant opportunity that could help fund our Park, please contact Leslie Schoenfield at [email protected].
